"Für HIV positive Frauen ist der Umgang mit ihrer Infektion noch einmal ein ganz besonderer. Sie haben häufig noch größere Schwierigkeiten ihre HIV-Infektion offen zu legen, denn sie fürchten Diskriminierung und zum Teil aus Kriminalisierung nicht nur für sich selbst, sondern auch für ihr Umfeld (Kinder, Familie, Partner oder Partnerin) für das sie sich ebenfalls verantwortlich fühlen. Das Filmprojekt gibt einen Einblick in die Lebenswirklichkeit von Frauen, die mit HIV leben und kann dadurch zu mehr gesellschaftlicher Akzeptanz und Toleranz beitragen."

„For HIV+ women, the handling of the infection is a special situation. They are often faced with great difficulty when openly discussing their infection with HIV, as they are afraid of discrimination and ostracism, not only for themselves, but also for those close to them (children, family, husband or wife) for whom they additionally feel responsible. This film project will give people a view into the reality of everyday life for women living with HIV and with this insight can lead to more social acceptance and tolerance.“
